Despite all the terrible reviews that were written about this product, I recieved this product and apprehensively tested it out on Quantum of Solace. It was clear straight away that the trigger worked perfectly and did the job I had bought it for. All I can say about the other reviews is that they are either putting it in wrong or they are just unlucky.
I'd say it is a good buy and recommend it highly.

i got the wii gun this time yesterday and i have to say it was (pretty much perfect)to contradict everyone who gave it 1 or 2 stars my wiimote fitted perfectly into the gun and so did the nunchuck. But that's just me i might have been a lucky one. but i gave it 4 stars because when you are using it you get a sense of cheapness like it could break at any second!
But overall if you are willing to take a chance like i did then i highly recommend purchasing this gun it's great fun (especially red steel) its amazing on that i havent changed the game at all in the wii. and my playing time yesterday was 14 hours. underneath i have rated the gun in different sections.
aiming:9/10 because its very good but a bit off!
reliability:7/10 because all though ive not had it long its beginning to feel flimbsy when im shooting.
looks 11/10 because it looks awesome!
overall 10/10 because theres a thew bits and bobs that could be a bit better but its good enough for me. and hopefully for you aswell.

I took a risk buying this gun on the reviews i read. For me, the gun did not work at all. It was very fustrating and would not recommend to anybody. The only saving grace was Amazon who refunded my money very quickly.

I felt the need to write a review to try and balance out all the negative ones. I bought this zapper when I got Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles so I could use it with that and was a far cheaper alternative than buying the official zapper which seems to sell for ridiculous prices above the RRP. I have had this zapper for well over a month and used it pretty much everyday for at least an hour and have had absolutely no problems with it. The design is comfortable and practicle and really adds to the gaming experience. The remote and nunchuk fit perfectly snuggly within the case and I have never had any issues with the trigger on the zapper working, sometimes I even keep the remote in the zapper when playing other games because I'm too lazy to take it out! NOt that it's difficult removing the remote and nunchuk, it's very simply and the zapper is sturdy enough that you can do it over and over again.
Overall I would highly recommend getting this if you want it for such games as RE:UC or House of Dead, please don't waste your money spending over ??30 for the official zapper (if your after Links crossbow training you can get it on ebay for about a tenner.)

Admittedly this does look cooler than the Wii Zapper but that's where any favourable comparisons end. Whereas the Zapper is perfectly balanced, precision made and comfortable to wield, the Gun Holder is fiddly, shoddily finished and awkard to hold. It has a flimsy thin plastic cover that feels as if it could break off easily. Once the Wii Remote is clipped into place, the trigger doesn't connect with the B button. It simply doesn't work. If this were not bad enough, you get finger cramp after about 10 minutes of gameplay. The Zapper is not cheap, but the Gun Holder is just expensive tat.
