Season 5 comes out great for voyager, the UFP (federation) trembles at hearing that the Voyager did survive after being taken to the Delta Quadrant and many stories on this ship suggested it was destroyed long ago. it was all thanks to the Doctor, now with more constant contact around the corner because of a starfleet project dubbed "the pathfinder project", specifically for commication with the missing voyager starship. the crew also gets more contact with the hirogen after the first successful relay via the doctor the hirogen stations and the prometheus.

Brilliant trek series at its best.

I'd just like to re-affirm that it does contain all the bonus features, i got my copy this morning.
Great quality videos, pretty cool menu screens and the features are great too.
I'd advise people to make sure they know things for sure before they go bitching on amazon reviews.

Just had to respond to the 2 "reviews" on this page, and confirm that these boxsets certainly DO contain all the extras that were found on the original boxsets. So even more reason to get them!!

Though these "slimline" box sets are devoid of additional extras, they are about half the price of the special edition box sets which were previously released, though companies currently charge about 60 dollars for the special editions in the US (around 30 uk) which is a theme throughout american television released over here, no consideration is given to the cost differences

however while accepting that this is unfair practice, its only fair to say that the show still rocks and if u want the cheaper no frills version, this is it.

I was very excited to see these new editions of Voyager - especially as my interest in the show was recently revived by a dusting off of my old recordings. The presentation is excellent.

However, I won't be buying. I deeply resent being asked to pay over ??30 for a boxed set that has nothing but the episodes on it. Especially as previous boxed sets have contained a stack of extras. Why were they deleted from this series of boxed sets?

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of being ripped off this way by US production companies. It's time the UK fans of such shows were given the same product as their US counterparts. There is no reason why we consistently get asked to pay exorbitant prices for less product!

Please note that this review does not refer to the slimline boxsets - i.e. this product! It referred to an earlier set which was not slimline and which had no extras. These slimline sets did not exist at the time I posted this review. In fact, the slimline sets, with extras, are exactly what I was calling for with this review (!) and I agree they are very good value for money. Amazon has a habit of merging reviews for different versions of a product into one set of reviews - hence the confusion from some reviewers who have subsequently replied to my review.
