The view blasted onto the scene with 'same jeans' but to get to their real sound you must listen to 'hats off to the buskers. More lyrically refined than the arctic monkeys, and deeper and less ragged than the fratellis, the view are the must listen new band.

Hmm, maybe it's just me then but I love this album. One of the few I've bought this year that I can happily listen to throughout and not skip particular tracks (more than can be said for the Mercury winning Klaxons) Wasted Little DJs has been my favourite song of the year (yes, I know it came out last year.) It's not 'deep' or particularly 'clever' but I know all the lyrics and can sing along to it in my car. "Gran's for Tea" reminds me of Squeeze (that's me giving my age away.) Highly recommended.

Fine album, very enjoyable and not limited to just a couple of tracks at all. They're not glamourising or overblowing where they come from, and there's no great drama or misery in their lyrics, just everyday life with a gentle humour.

I'll be brief. I saw them live in February in Camden. They were quite good. I bought the album. There's probably two goods songs maybe one if I'm being harsh. I listen to the album rarely. Plus they were awful as Glasto. But that's another matter.
