I grew up with 'Macgyver' the more I watch it the more I love the story
line, the tricks, there's a few episodes that really stand out, what i like the most about it is how Pete and Mac solve riddles using an analytical, observing mind

this is a really good programme , and the series is watchable , but although the series is nearly 20 years old the picture quality is really awful.

It's as if the series was filmed using a camcorder , transferred to VHS,then when dvd was invented, transferred direct from VHS tape to dvd and the picture shows it. having bought numerous tv boxsets from the 70s and 80s
the macgyver dvds have the worst picture quality i've ever seen - why there wasn't any remastering done on these before release is amazing, yet the rrp is between ??50- ??60 it seems paramount just want to release anything without doing any restoration work , whilst charging as much as possible. as a result it makes an enjoyable show much less enjoyable to watch.
