This is not a Walt Disney cartoon, so if you want to see lots of colour, action and loud music, forget it, go and watch "Cars" or "The Invincibles", but it is a very clever artistic film. There is very little dialogue so there is no need for subtitles, superb graphics throughout, wonderful story and a film you can watch over and over again. It is not for those with a low attention span, as it is paced rather slowly, and can be considered European, quite unique though and wonderfully refreshing.

According to reliable reviews I have read, Belleville Rendezvous and the Triplets of Belleville are in fact exactly the same film, the first is the European title and the second the North American. Since there is virtually no dialogue there is no difference between the two and I'd be pretty fed up if I bought the pair!
