Product Description
What's the one place large enough to stage Mario's biggest adventure? Outer space, of course. Super Mario Galaxy is the latest in a long line of Mario platformers that will make you change the way you look at video games. From the amazing diversity of galaxies and a new array of special suits for Mario to the incredible control scheme offered through the Wii Remote, Super Mario Galaxy is the ultimate Mario experience. Whether you're a Mario master or playing one of his adventures for the first time, you'll actively jump from planet to planet with the motion-sensing and pointing capabilities of the controller. Mario's newest move - the spin move - is performed by giving the Wii Remote a quick shake. It's the most versatile move in the game and can aide Mario in his many discoveries. Additionally, the Wii Remote's pointer is used to collect Star Bits, which can be thrown at enemies to stun them.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.
The game is GORGEOUS. It truly is. Any guy who says they don't like cutsey animation in their games and prefer realistic shoot 'em ups with plenty of blood and gore, will be simply bowled over by how beautiful it is (my 25 year old brother and his mate for example!)
The controls are innvotave (as should all wii games be.. sadly all are not). When you start the game, I found myself feeling slighlty disorientated at first because you wander around gorgeous little planetoids going any where you want, flipping over to the underside of them etc. However it doesn't take long to get used to. I have played this game to death and still play on it more so it is value for money. I am truly stunned. So stunned in fact that I nearly cried at how beautiful it all looks. Like I touched on before, the game is really for any one with any tastes. So if your buying it for a present and your not sure if they like it, GET IT!!! You'll regret it. Well if they are under 10 they may not be able to play it very well!

Usual standard as expected. This is not a two player game in the normal sense of the word and very disappointing in that respect. I'd rather play including my partner not like this.

Well what a game. its got good gameplay and graphics are really flashy. I has all the glitz of Super Mario 64. But one anoying thing the control is crap. You should be able to use classic controller for this game. like all the new games have. it would be perfect. so shame about that. its a awesome game.
well done nintendo but shame on you for the control. yes you get used to it eventually after hours of playing.
