CD= Awesome. DVD= Not Quite So Awesome. - Reviewed on 2007-02-27

I think that the CD is absolutley amazing, far exceeding my expectations. I first aquired a copy of this, but soon decided I needed the real deal, and in doing so, i found this special edition.
The CD is brilliant, the musicianship is top-notch whilst the lyrics are dark yet sublime. For a better review on the CD, check out the regular version of the CD (non special edition).
The DVD however was less than I had expected. Don't get me wrong, i love special edition things, i'm a real sucker for that sort of thing, but when there is a band like Co&Ca who could have packed the DVD with some really decent stuff (i.e. More interviews, Storyline stuff and plots, some more live footage), what we got was a tad banale. The studio stuff was limited, the Favour House Atlantic film was a waste of time and the Vignettes - though cool - were short and made little sense in the stucture that they appeared.
Please don't get me wrong because i am such a big fan of Co&Ca and the prospect of a DVD thrilled me beyond belief... but just don't get pulled into believing the DVD to be amazing, because it brutal honesty, i felt it lacked the weight i had expected.

On the plus side, the packaging was beautiful, worth buying for that alone!
