Best 'add on' to date for the wonderful series

Even though you don't get to find a 5th weapon, you do like before have all characters available to you from the beginning, plus an edit mode to where you can create & use your own characters - unfortantely can't be used in one player free & musuo modes like DW4, also have the opporunity if you wanted to create & train a character from a mere private under any character of the three main forces, plus the chance to 'power up your characters life, musuo, attack, defence, weapon power & any attributes that the weapon has in the power section of the camp area & finally have other modes that weren't availabe before, my peronal favourite being Legend Mode as there are battles that only certain characters can do that don't feature in musuo mode

Won't play DW% without it!

I have been a dynasty warriors gamer for some time now, i have had every Dynasty warriors game except 1, and this truly smashes the others onto the floor like no other you or i have seen! There are many features for this game like the new destiny mode for instance, this is were you create a character like in dynasty warriors 4 and 4 xtreme legends. You then take you character through various levels as you did in the previous dynasty warriors games. I think that this is a massive improvement from 5 as i think 5 had slipped down hill mainly as there was no create a player mode and this is a must have for all gamers!

Definitely worth buying. The game consists of one new mode and two from Dynasty warriors 4 Xtreme legends. Legend mode is the first and this is definitely better than the one Dynasty warriors 4 Xtreme legends. Now there are 18 levels and more than one character can relate to each. Unfortunately not every character has a legend level. Xtreme mode is similar as well to the one on 4. Except now it's a lot easier to actually survive. My first time playing it I managed to get to level 35 as Lu Bu but it was a challenge.
Finally destiny mode has to be the best. To be able to create your own warriors and build him up through the ranks of any army under any officer is what Dynasty Warriors has always needed.
This game is definitely worth buying

this is the best DW game Koei have done so far. the destiny mode, where you create your own character is awesome, although they could allow you to do more than 8 stages. in edit mode you have to unlock the parts to create so this gives you more of a challenge, like xtreme mode, as you go through as many stages as you can before getting killed. the only problem is that for musou and free modes, you need a save from DW5, however , this is not to bad as you only need to do it once, so you could borrow from a friend. for people like me, you have the game anyway. an enjoyable game.

For those of you who have played the original DW Series you already know how this games works.

However the game is made better through the fact that now you can do destiny mode, in which you create a character (male or female) and embark on a journey from a private foot soldier all the way up the ranks to a Dynasty Warrior. You can join which kingdom you like, although if you get bored you can change (if they write to you asking that is.) You also have objectives you can choose to fulfill each battle which will give you points to upgrade your abilities.

Also there is the normal legends mode, but to be honest however good the other modes are destiny mode just blew me away. It certainly the perfect historical fighting game.

Now all they have to is one based on Rome, with the fighting side of Dynasty Warriors but the tactical side of Rome: Total War!!!
