Worthless. - Reviewed on 2008-10-11

I got this today as it was half price. Bad graphics. Terrible controls. Not at all fun. I'd played Burnout 2 and 3 on the PS2 and loved them. I have played this for 15min and will probably never play it again.

Having played all of the available Burnout games on the PS2 I was so pleased to get it for the D.S. I completed it within a few hours and only the super class came close to putting in any thought to the driving. It makes no use of the touch screen (I mean at all, it's so useless). They obviously just wanted to bring it out to make a quick buck, even though it is clearly detrimental to the d.s's reputation but reflects far wose on the manufacturer. Their review above this is laughable. They wouldn't say that if they'd played the damn thing! Most boring and pointless game...ever

I never normally have the time to spend completing games, and when I saw this I thought I still wouldn't. But this game is so short, it's taken me 5 hours to complete with relative ease. If you want something which is easy going, done without too much effort, then buy it. Serious gamers stay away.
The DS is so much more capable... - Reviewed on 2006-07-18

i was so excited to get this game after i saw it on PSP, let alone i was so glad it was also on DS. once i turned it on. the main menu was so dull. after this tragic part, i got on a single event and that was called "road rage". one of my favourates. but, as it began. i was utter dissapointed. the racing is so slow. and getting a car to crash is so back breakingly annoying!!! the only thing EA has done well with this game is a good variety of options. the thing is, it's not even a burnout game! EA have not used the DS's power properly.

in all, burnout for DS is just another crap game made from a company who doesn't give a damn about nintendo and the DS. its a game with fewer cars and bigger pixles.

...

o'h god. this is depressing...
Not as good as Xbox versions - Reviewed on 2006-05-27

I love the Burnout series and have had all 4 of the games on my Xbox, so on buying my DS and finding you could get this game, I was estatic.
But, sadly, that feeling didn't last.
It is really difficult to control your car and to be honest, instead of being a mix of the best bits, it's more like a mish mash of, well, everything really.
I wouldn't reccommend buying Burnout for DS,
however, for Xbox, it is fantastic.
I shall be sticking to my Xbox to play Burnout, that's for sure!
