Having read some of the other reviews of this set, I was worried about getting it. Now that I actually I have it I can say that I had nothing to worry about! The DVDs are perfect, good quality, all there and not a scratch or anything on any of them. The box is also of very good quality.
Brilliant DVDs, Brilliant Set. I would recommend this set to any X-Files Fan!

This boxset is great value for money as I managed to get hold of a copy for ??63 making each series work out at about ??7 which is great. The box came in great condition within 3 days from Amazon, with all discs and boxes present and in good condition only let down was that series 1 and 5s sleeves where badly scrumpled but hay the price makes that a minor problem - cant wait to work my way through all the episodes again , a truley ground breaking series

Well of course the X-Files collection is worth 5 stars but one of the discs in my set was missing. Well actally I had a missing disc and a duplicate. I should probably have checked when I received the set but didn't discover the missing disc until sometime later (it was in season 6) so amazon refused to replace it.
Schoolboy error? Perhaps.
Amazon customer service rubbish? No doubt.

The series that defined the 90's Conspiracy Theories. Too bad over-infated egos and greedy network executives and producers ruined it after season 7. That is when the show actually expired.

This is one of the BEST TV Series ever aired - the one every fan covets. I guess that explains the exorbitant price it has attached at AMAZON! (Hence the missing star).
One can find it MUCH cheaper elsewhere.

Bought this from amazon, and recieved it today. Im very pleased to say that the quality is good. No broken dvd's og boxes here, and the cardbord box looks fine to me in quality also. Checked all the dvd and not a scrath on any of them either.
I do not know why some of the other ppl have expressed that they think this set is poor quality, perhaps they bought it from someone else and not amazon itself, but all I can say that I am satisfied!!
