I have played this game and found it extremely fun. The Voice acting id great along with the gameplay and the graphics are pretty good as well. It is amazing how each chracter has their own story and musou mode.
No downsides at all in my opinion.
A recomended buy for KOEI fans.

This game is the best game ever made for ps2 infact the hole seriese brilliant! Must be the most addictive game iv ever played and it just lets u take ur anger out exelantly! Iv had this game for a couple of weeks now and after playing it nearly every day i still have only done about 15 characters out of 48! There is 3 kindoms shu wu and wei (wei defenatly best!) with about 6 characters to start of with in each one! As u complete them u unlock new one for that kingdom or a character that has a unic story in no kindom eg Lu-Bu (he best in game) I have nothing bad to say about this game which for me is good. For all those that have never played a Dynasty Warriors game this is purely and simply a button basher. If you hate repeating moves and the old X...X....X... Square...Triangle....This game isnt is not you full stop. If you do You'll find a game with complex and delightful history and a game that rivals many in longevity.

The story evolves round three waring armies Wei,Shu,Wu and a few lone warriors. Each Army has around 10-15 Officers. Its these you control and take on the battlefield. You destroy other officers to rank up, gain new weapons, items and bodyguards.

Each officer will take roughly 45 minutes - 1.5 hrs to complete, you times that the amount of officers available (around 45+) Include 4 different difficulty settings and its a mammoth game to complete.

With several add-ons, Extreme legends and empires you get a game that will run and run. Remember though this is a button basher so it can be very samey.To be honest if your a fan you'll already know what a great game this is, but if not it may not be your cup of tea but its certainly worth your time.

To all who simply love the Dynasty Warriors series, this is a must for your collection as it enables you to have the greatest number of playable characters availabe to date, also link up with your bodyguard to do your relevant characters true musuo attack regardless of your health

Even though you only have one bodyguard compared to a maximuym of eight in the last game, the bodyguard can assist you in various ways e.g ones that have a fan as a weapon can heal you

living up to the reputation of the first 4 of the series was never going to be easy...however you created the proverbial "mountain out of a molehill" by creating new characters and irrelevant yet horrificly poor scenery. why is it that level four i am issued with a pair of moccasins to improve walking rather then medical supplies for the health of my character, zhuge liang. im fed up of this
