I just wanan say that this is a fantastic idea to release the "best superman series" ever!! I cant wait to get the other seasons. But this is a tremendous offer, the price is quite cheap and with it you get some great Superman episodes!! Been waiting a long time for this and I only had one episode on video but now I have all the first season on DVD!! Dean Cain, in my opinion, is an under rated actor, he is very good at acting, and his acting in Superman is top notch, and I thought he could at least play James Bond, with his little role as bond in Superman was quite good! I have some of his low budget movies and most of them are good! He gets on so well and plays so well with the very sexy Terri Hatcher! She is so fabulous in this, and both of them deserve all the credit! This show was huge back then and still is now, thats why every year since it stopped in 1997 it has been repeated constantly! :)

Please get this if you want action, comedy and yes ok abit of a love angle to it.lol

i would like to know when season one is being released in england so if anyone one knows i would love to know when cause they have stopped showing it over here

We waited in anticipation for the DVD season to come out, after watching all four seasons when they were on in the UK. The season was great then and still manages to hold the audience the way it did from the start. Dean Cain is gorgeous both as Clark and Superman, Teri Hatcher is great and charming as Lois vibrant and warm character. The interaction between the two leaves you laughing completely in stitches. The classic lines had folcs all over the world repeating them seeing them again on the DVD shows how the tv show still can be watched over and over and still make you laugh, cry and scream at Lois in trouble... as she always seems to get herself into.
The story archs are gripping Lois getting married, arguing with Clark, and the week by week enemies. Luthor is so evil you really hate him and Cat and lois are hilarious in their squabbles.
Overall, this DVD is a must for any Superman fan but really enjoyable for any age or any person. It is truly a classic to be in everyones collection.
BUY IT!

I watched this when it was on UK terrestrial TV, in 1995 ish. It was great then and it still holds it's charm now.
