A friend of mine bought these thinking they were L&H films. These do NOT have L&H as everyone remebers them, these are their early work. The only one which has them both in is The Lucky Dog which is the first one they were ever in together and nothing like their later films.

The quality of these DVDs is pritty poor as well. I have better 16mm prints of these films and mine are by no means the best. From the quality of the DVDs it looks like they have used 16mm prints (and not good ones at that!) and transfered it badly to DVD.

If you want classic L&H do a search for B0001K2KE8 which is the a boxset of all their best work. You can also get the DVDs from the boxset seprately from amazon as well.

If you want to see their classic work then do a search for some other DVDs of it because these are really bad!

The only Laurel and Hardy short here is "A Lucky Dog", the others are solo efforts. Unless you are interested in their early solo work, this disc is a waste of money.
