Selleck plays the part down to a tea....Not to typecast him here but it really could just be Magnum but Magnum is one of the greatest characters ever seen so that is hardly a bad thing now is it.....

So...Selleck is an aging baseball player who gets traded to the Giants.."the new york giants" he asks..No...the Tokyo Giants in Japan...what follows is the usual fish out of water story but it is played out well & the laughs are good (...)

This is a good film & do recommend anyone to get it who enjoys a good popcorn film.
