Its obvious that alot of the design team have moved on since then. While Frontline has its moments of genius, it doesn't deliver on the promises of previous games.
Its gameplay is nothing new if you've played and FPS over the last 5 years. Levels are usually pretty linear, and rarely involve more than go from A to B, picking up this on the way. Certain levels do stand out, usually because they were lifted straight from Allied Assualt.
Graphically its average. While the team have done a good job on improving on the graphics of previous games, it certainly won't stretch the XBox to any great degree.
Music and sound effects have always been where the Medal of Honor games have been peer-less, and this is no exception. All the sound effects are superb, and the ever present Medal of Honor orchestra is on top form again.
All in all, it gives a different play experience dpending on who you are. If you've already played the previous Medal of Honor games, it will leave you with a sense of deja vu, and of being cheated. If not, then you may well enjoy it, although perhaps it is not the best introduction to the franchise...
