This movie pin points every emotion and every fear of a young lesbian. It shows the discrimination that gays have to put up with. It deals with the confusion and lonliness of Jane as she fights her way to feeling a little less insecure about who she is.
This is how it is people.
It's one of the best films I have seen and it is very real. I was crying all the way through it basically, because it was like watching all the feelings I went through being played back to me.
It's a must see for every lesbian, gay, friend of, or parent of a homosexual.
It helps other people understand.

I thought this film was very good. I was expecting some sort of sad TV movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Its very well written and the actors were all believable.
Jane starts High School but struggles to fit in until Taylor a new girl enrolls and their friendship blossoms. Jane struggles with her sexuality but learns to accept it. The challenge is finding a way to help her mum come to terms with her daughters sexuality.

I'm gay, and i was recently 'pulled out' of the closet to my parents by a vengeful ex. I went, -and still am going- , through a rough period with my parents, and feelings are mixed. The movie does show on one hand the relief of accepting oneself and then being out, and on the other hand, the fear of being rejected by loved ones and the terrible feeling of loneliness and despair in the darkest of times. It also shows the other side of the coin; what parents go through and the different attitudes. Finally, it ends in a postive tone, maybe in an unrealistic way, that change of prejudice against gays and lesbians IS reversible. I will show this movie to my parents, in hope that i will communicate what i cannot put into words. It's a 'must see' movie.

I WAS WATCHING TV LATE AND SUDDENLY THERE IT WAS. A lesbian moovie. I wasnt expecting that wonderful surprise. I was very tired but i couldnt sleep. Isnt and so easy to watch in greek tv lesbian moovies and if that happens you have to be very lucky. Anyway i found that every young lesbian had leaved that experience maybe if i seen it when i was 17 i wouldnt believe that i was the only lesbian in the world! Every teen lesbian should watch it!
