My 7 year old daughter is a fan of the Daisy Meadows books, but she especially enjoyed reading Lucy the Diamond Fairy because it includes Pegasus the winged horse who comes to the rescue when the fairies are unable to fly due to Jack Frost's mischief making. Most of the action takes place in Fairyland and the book offers enough variation from the tried and tested formula of the rest of the fairy novels to make it a more interesting read. It certainly seems to appeal to Cassia who thinks it's the best Daisy Meadow book so far.
