I stumbled across this book - and loved it. Very helpful at pointing out what your baby will be doing at the various monthly stages - and very useful ideas about what you can do to entertain/educate/play with your child. I was quite a nervous - and completely untrained - first time parent and found Dr Stoppard's book full of excellent examples of things to do with my son. I ignored the whole 'golden hour' suggestion by the author but still found it by far the most helpful book out there.

I was shopping around for a simple & easy to follow book to keep up with my baby's development. We ran out of ideas of how to keep the play & learning on-going.

Absolutely loved this book. Gave it to my hubby & he read the whole book & thought the same too.
